NRI will help push AWS and cloud services to the Japanese market and international financial services sector.

NRI expects that this team will reach 100 personnel within two years. The team will focus primarily on supporting clients that utilize AWS in their enterprise structure, but will also work on financial services-specific cloud solutions.

"With our experience in large-scale AWS-based enterprise systems, we are well-positioned to work with Amazon Web Services for this initiative,” says Tatsuya Watahiki, senior corporate managing director at NRI. “As the industry continues to evolve, financial services firms are increasingly looking to leverage secure cloud technology to improve their business operations. We have been utilizing AWS to provide cloud services for Japanese corporations for several years and are excited to have the opportunity to work with AWS to further extend the offering.”
