ADX Gets Ready for X-Stream

The ADX has begun testing its new trading system, powered by Nasdaq OMX.

The migration to X-Stream, scheduled for the end of January 2014, will support the increasing volume of trading on ADX with a multi-asset trading platform that complies with international standards.

"We are committed to becoming one of the most innovative exchanges in the region and across the world," says Ghanem Hamad Al Dhaheri, deputy chief executive of ADX. "Upgrading our trading technology and continuing our partnership will assist us to become a financial center for more regional and global businesses."

ADX will conduct two more tests, in December and January, to ensure that brokers are ready to use the new platform.
