Dexia is headquartered in Brussels, Belgium.

IBM will rename the business, which has around $1.3 billion in signed sourcing contracts over seven years in its portfolio, to Innovative Solutions for Finance (ISFF). It will implement a cloud architecture to broaden the scope of the company.

"After a long and careful selection process, Dexia has chosen a strong partner endorsing a new industrial future for the company and its employees," says Karl de Boeck, CEO at the Dexia Group, which is undergoing an orderly break up under the guidance of the European Commission. "At the same time, this agreement is yet another significant step forward in the Group's orderly resolution."
