Knight Tech Glitch Leads Circuit Breakers to Kick In

Another day, another black eye for electronic trading, which has led to a considerable sag in investor confidence in Wall Street. In the first hour of trading on the New York Stock Exchange today, a "technology issue" that transpired in Knight Capital Group's market-making unit led to what is being termed by some as a "mini flash crash" around the industry. It is being reported that market participants believe that it was an algorithm-based order that caused the tumult.

As a result, Knight told
