Savvis Looks to Sew Up Ticker Deals; Radianz Takes a Different Approach

Network vendor Savvis Communications is seeking to steal a march on rival Radianz in the direct exchange datafeed space by targeting new partnerships with the remaining ticker plant technology vendors. Meanwhile, Radianz is pursuing partnerships with other parties.
Both vendors believe they can capitalize on the disintermediation trend—where firms implement their own ticker plants to accept, manage and distribute data collected directly from exchanges, eliminating the latency introduced by data
