LONDON--Newton Investment Management, a UK-based investment management company, is in the process of web-enabling its settlement and accounting database with a cache database from ACT Financial Systems.
Newton is installing the Quasar Advance database from ACT to replace the earlier version of Quasar it has been using for several years. Newton is the first fund manager to deploy the new version of Quasar, says Kevin Sloane, marketing manager of ACT Financial Systems.
