Participants and Exchanges React to Mifid II

The Mifid review will now be debated by the European Parliament and member states.

With the release of Mifid II proposals yesterday from the European Commission, reaction has varied considerably between sectors of the market.

Exchanges, on the whole, have been broadly welcoming of the new rules, citing increased transparency and a move to migrate all trading to regulated market operators as being in support of a steady market.
