Xenomorph and Microsoft announce HPC partnership

Xenomorph and Microsoft

have formed a partnership to apply high performance computing (HPC) to data management in financial markets. Microsoft Windows HPC Server 2008 technology will be integrated with Xenomorph's TimeScape data and analytics management system. Xenomorph says it will apply Microsoft's HPC technology to the intra-day calculation of large correlation matrices, a key calculation for correlation-based trading and risk management. Windows HPC Server 2008 will become the first HPC
