SimCorp: Only One in Three Buy-Siders Planning to Upgrade Derivatives Technology

The SimCorp survey, conducted in December among 70 executives from almost 50 North American buy-side firms, gauged respondents' opinions on where their firms would be making new technology investments or upgrades within the next two years. Over 32% said they plan to invest in new or updated derivatives systems. While that number was among the highest in this survey, it is well below similar sell-side answers about derivatives investment.
