HyperFeed Lawsuit Cries Fraud

Chicago-based ticker plant vendor HyperFeed Technologies and parent PICO Holdings have filed a lawsuit against former partner Exegy seeking damages for actions that HyperFeed claims drove the beleaguered vendor out of business.

The lawsuit, filed in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Ill., seeks to prevent the St. Louis, Mo.-based Exegy from using HyperFeed's confidential information, and seeks compensatory, exemplary and punitive damages for Exegy's actions leading up to HyperFeed's closure.
