Reuters Focuses on Instant Messaging, Bridge Integration
2002: THE YEAR AHEAD
NEW YORK--Instant messaging will be the focus of a major launch for Reuters in 2002, says Alex Hungate, chief marketing officer and president of focus group accounts.
Reuters is working with Microsoft to develop a wireless service that will offer greater security and performance for the B2B market. It will include federated directory technology, which will let institutions hold directory information but share pieces of it with other institutions via Reuters. It will also have audit capabilities
