Kx Builds LSE Historical Loader

Kx Systems is developing a new software loader that will allow trading firms to fully exploit and analyze the historical data services now being offered by the London Stock Exchange (LSE).

Palo Alto, Calif.-based Kx already offers its taq loader in the US for the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). Taq allows users to construct analytics and trading strategies based on a daily supply of historical data from the NYSE by loading it into Kx’s kbd database.

The UK loader is targeted for launch in Q2 this
