After a long delay, futures exchanges are getting set to begin migration to the second version of the Interexchange Technology Committee's (ITC) feed specification -- ITC 2.1.
ITC 2.1 was conceived as a response to developments that have made the market a much different place today than it was when the ITC 1.0 specification debuted in 1981 -- developments like multiple trading sessions and expanded trading hours, flexible message structures and additional instrument types.
