Standard & Poor's Trading Systems has abandoned the brokerage terminal business and will focus on marketing its Ticker III and IV data feeds. The sales effort for the highly-touted Stockmate product has reverted from S&P to the software's developer, Ron Steinberg, proprietor of Irvine, CA-based Stockmate Financial Systems, Inc.
While S&P has made no official announcement about Stockmate, the company from now on "is going to concentrate on the real-time delivery of data," says Steinberg. S&P T
