The Open Bloomberg: Details On Data And Technology

Since the introduction of the "Open Bloomberg" last month (IMD, Sept. 25), the vendor has released details on the data that users will be able to extract for use in their own applications. Further details also have emerged concerning the technology required to implement the system and the platforms it will be available on.

With the usual caveats concerning third-party contributed data and prices that are liable for exchange fees, the company says that the data that users can extract will include
