You suggest in "Rumbling for Reuters" (On Balance, Sept. 27) that David Grigson, Reuters’ CFO, "admitted" that Reuters is more expensive than Bloomberg and accordingly Reuters has introduced a hosted version of its premium product to bring down the cost to clients.

This misrepresents Mr. Grigson’s comments at the Cazenove Media Conference. He was referring to a number of sites where Reuters market data systems have been sold but, with new ways to view Reuters terminals, are no longer require
