The XML for Market Data conference, which starts today (Monday, April 28), will examine the role of market data standards for security master file and straight-through-processing (STP) applications through a series of presentations.

The two-day conference, to be held in New York, aims to establish a connection between reference data, MDDL (Market Data Definition Language) and standards for securities identification to help create a uniform data format to help the industry focus on solving market
