The European Government Relief Index is an equal-weighted index that will be calculated and disseminated in real time via Nasdaq OMX's Global Index Data Service, which is distributed through data vendors. Constituents include public companies that have received at least €500 million of government relief. At launch, this will comprise 21 companies, mostly financial institutions, though the exchange plans to add more qualifying companies to the index as they reach the threshold for relief funds.
