NYSE Secures SEC Go-ahead for Arca Fees

The exchange had originally received approval to begin charging for its depth of book and bond trade data-which Arca had previously provided free of charge prior to its purchase by NYSE-in October 2006, but had to withdraw the fees when the SEC reversed its decision following objections from Web interest group NetCoalition (IMD, Jan. 8, 2007).
