Much of the work to build out the Canadian connectivity service is already complete, and the network should be fully up and running by the middle of March, officials say.
At that point, the service will connect five datacenters in the Toronto area-three in the city and two on the outskirts of the city-which collectively host the primary and backup matching engines for Chi-X Canada, the Toronto Stock Exchange, CNSX Markets' Pure Trading market, and the Alpha and Omega alternative trading systems.
