ISE Launches FX Options Data
The ISE began trading four currency pairs—euro, sterling, yen and Canadian dollar—against the US dollar, though Kris Monaco, director of new product development, says that the ISE ultimately intends to list options on 19 currencies against the US dollar, and a total of 47 cross-rates, targeting emerging currencies once it has established initial liquidity around the first four contracts.
"There are no firm target dates, but hopefully that will take place in the not-too-distant future," Monaco
