Edgar Online Offers XBRL
Edgar Online is offering a new tool that imports data from company’s financial statements into XBRL format and downloads the information directly into a spreadsheet. Users can access, for no additional cost, financial statements from more than 12,000 US publicly traded companies downloaded directly into MS Excel spreadsheets. XBRL, which is designed for financial statements, has been available in prototype form since May 3 to subscribers to Edgar Online’s fundamental data
Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
