Bloomberg Withdraws From Tough Stance On Data Download Limits

LONDON--It appears that Bloomberg is withdrawing from its tough stance regarding limits on the amount of data items that customers in the European market can download (IMD, May 10).

The initial decision to impose limits was met with backlash from users who were unhappy with the lack of notification and with the apparent move by Bloomberg to gain additional revenues from large data consumers. Downloads were set to a limit of 1,000 fields of one instrument type and 2,000 fields of mixed instruments

Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
