Finnish Vendor Startel Adopts Slingshot For Web Data Service
DELIVERY TECHNOLOGIES
HELSINKI--Finnish data vendor Startel Oy plans to use CSK Software's Slingshot push technology to add interactive capability to its Starweb Internet-delivered quote service. The vendor is among the first to adopt Slingshot, one of several technologies vying to become the standard for push delivery of real-time information across the Internet.
The arrangement, which was signed by Studesoft, CSK Software's redistributor in Finland, will allow Startel to offer interactive capabilities via Starweb
