TSX Datalinx Looks to Wholesaling

TSX Datalinx, the data operation arm of TSX Group, which runs the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSE) and TSXVenture Exchange, has advanced its plan to become a wholesale distributor of data, by going live on Reuters and preparing to launch on Moneyline Telerate.

These deals are the "first step for us in becoming a wholesale distributor," says Eric Sinclair, senior vice-president. "We have been carrying our own content [from TSE and TSXVenture Exchange], but we need to expand our reach."
