Reuters Hires Gurle to Lead IM

ORGANIZATION AND STRATEGY

David Gurle, whom Reuters named last week as executive vice president and global head of collaboration services, says he will start from scratch by reviewing Reuters’ instant messaging assets and comparing them to what customers are asking for.

"I think we need to understand the assets we have and see where the instant messaging is in terms of distribution and usage and what the customers are asking for," he says. "Reuters has a significant set of assets in terms of product line and the content
