Market data vendors are searching for ways to improve the value of their products, as clients demand cheaper services and vendors face a shrinking market, says Paul Sullivan, director of media research at Merrill Lynch, responsible for European publishing coverage, who spoke to Inside Market Data last week.
At the same time, the vendors have to continue to improve their products and customer service, he says.
