BCC Bows Solace-Enabled Low-Latency Excel Analytics
German market data software supplier BCC Group has released Calcnode, a high-performance spreadsheet calculation tool, developed based on hardware messaging provider Solace Systems’ middleware appliance, to enable users to integrate and run calculations on feeds from multiple data sources on central servers, allowing them to use spreadsheet-based pricing models in latency-sensitive environments. BCC has been developing Calcnode with Solace since last year (IMD, Jan. 25, 2010).
