B2N Open-Sources Data APIs

UK-based feed handler and market data platform technology vendor B2N is planning to open-source its data APIs in a move designed to create an open abstraction layer that makes it easier for firms to switch and interchange data platforms and components.

Vasko Tomanov, technology fellow at B2N, says clients can use the open-source APIs today, but that the vendor will release a fully packaged version of the software available later this month or in early June, accompanied by full documentation, and
