SIX, Bloomberg Bring Redundancy Feed Adapter to Japan

The move brings enhanced failover capabilities between the vendors' feeds to clients in the region.

Dubbed the Bloomberg Enterprise Adapter for MDFselect, the adapter allows clients of Bloomberg's B-Pipe to use MDFselect as an automated or self-managed backup service without having to recode their applications.

The adapter means that real-time data from both vendors runs hot to the customer site, where the customer can select primary and backup sources from each feed and either full or partial, automatic or manual failover if the other feed is unavailable. Entitlements for both feeds are
