Barchart Bows Event-Based API for Monitoring, Alerting
The new API will allow users to monitor for specific events and conditions, and to generate alerts when those conditions are met.
For example, the API can be used to send text messages, emails or push notifications when the price of an instrument crosses a certain level, or when a company announces news, or based on a combination of market, technical and fundamental data.
The API is a managed service utilizing Amazon Web Services' cloud infrastructure.
