Platts Incorporates ICE Data into Gas Price Assessments
The new methodology will incorporate more data to strengthen Platts' benchmarks and increase price transparency.
Under the new methodology, Platts’ daily and monthly indexes will include all ICE on-exchange trades and data, in addition to data from Platts’ own price reporting, and will include ICE eConfirm trades and transactions if no Platts price reporter or ICE exchange trades exist.
Platts will also publish more indexes, including preliminary and final daily indexes for Platts locations, final daily indexes for ICE locations, and preliminary and final monthly indexes for both Platts and ICE locations
