SEC Advisory Committee Releases Final Report

WASHINGTON--The Securities and Exchange Commission’s Advisory Committee on Market Information released its final report on schedule, despite the World Trade Center disaster. The report, dated Sept. 14, was in most respects anticlimactic, according to some sources. Others disagreed, citing the significance of recommending a change in the way the markets have functioned since 1975.
