FISD Rides into Amsterdam

The Financial Information Services Division (FISD) of the Software Industry and Information Association continues to examine the issue of identification and numbering, according to FISD vice president Michael Atkin, who spoke at the Waters 2002 conference last week. That question will be one focus of this week’s FISD meeting in Amsterdam, held on Wednesday through Friday, Sept. 25-27.

Last week Atkin stressed the importance of coordinating standards development to create a single unique ID system
