Swift's Janssens on CICI Changes: PART 2

On October 3, the CFTC Interim Compliant Identifier (CICI) utility that is operated by Swift and the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC) became one of the first three pre-local operating units (pre-LOUs) to be accepted into the interim legal entity identifier system.

Here, Paul Janssens, Swift's LEI program director, discusses how Swift and DTCC are helping users manage changes that have been made to the CICI utility as part of its application to become part of the interim LEI system, and he explains that more work needs to be done to streamline the process of transferring pre-LEI records from one pre-LOU to another.
