HSBC Automates Corporate Actions With CheckFree
LONDON-HSBC Securities Services (HSS) has implemented the eVent processing solution from US software vendor CheckFree to automate corporate actions processing to 10 of HSS's investment administration clients.
CheckFree officials say eVent will enable HSS to offer its clients post-trade securities processing. According to Naren Patel, director of securities business development at CheckFree, the solution is designed to automate HSS's capture and validation of corporate actions announcements from
