A siloed mentality and poor data quality levels within firms remain two of the outstanding data management challenges institutions have to overcome to enable a more near-real-time risk management environment, according to a report released by research firm Lepus and business analytics software provider SAS.
The report highlights that despite the fact firms are looking into data management and quality improvement, more has to be done to facilitate a real-time environment.
