Industry Still Lacks Golden Source for Reportable Securities

ESMA list the only option but 'far from ideal', says expert

Firms that wish to be compliant with the revised Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID II) must report securities to competent authorities. The European Markets and Securities Authority (ESMA) has said it will publish a list of reportable instruments, but 15 months before the regulation goes live, this list is not considered an adequate golden source, according to an industry expert.
