Bloomberg TOMS First Solution Certified by IIROC for Reporting Under Rule 2800c
Latest Canadian post-trade regulation is similar to that of Finra’s Trace.
The regulation, which comes into effect on November 1, requires dealer members to report to the IIROC the debt securities transactions they execute and their affiliates that are government securities distributors on a post-trade basis.
Sunil Biswas, head of product for Bloomberg TOMS, tells WatersTechnology Rule 2800c marks the first time the Canadian regulators have imposed a reporting requirement of this nature on the dealers.
