Confluence has announced its collaboration with Fundsquare to simplify regulatory filings within its AIFMD Transparency Reporting tool, as required by the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD).
The investment data management automation provider has integrated the Fundsquare solution into its software-as-a-service (SaaS) Unity NXT AIFMD Transparency Reporting tool to ease the reporting of over 400 data points that must be collected from several internal and third-party systems and sent to national competent authorities (NCAs) across Europe.
The solution will now allow asset managers to only upload the required files once before they can be disseminated to the multiple NCAs in the format required by each. This is to ensure accuracy and timeliness of filings to each regulatory jurisdiction and brings control over the entire AIFMD reporting process.
"As regulatory reporting pressures continue to increase, we view Fundsquare as a resource we can leverage to develop and bring to the market additional regulatory solutions to both the asset management and third-party administrator market," says Melvin Jayawardana, Confluence's European market manager.
