Some EBS Members Will Skip Reuters Dealing 2000-2 Tests

Several of the 30 bank sites slated to participate in beta tests of Reuters Holdings PLC's Dealing 2000-2 system when they begin Jan. 20 won't be taking part. Some members of the Electronic Broking Services consortium to develop a rival order-matching system for foreign exchange trading have informed Reuters of their intention to withdraw from the Dealing 2000-2 tests this month.
