Reuters Settles on One Model
DELIVERY TECHNOLOGIES
Reuters has decided to offer a single data model to assure clients that applications written to its original Integrated Data Network (IDN) will also run against the ex-Bridge Reuters Distribution Network (RDN).
Reuters had planned to move clients from IDN to RDN over a three-year period (IMD, Oct. 27, 2003). But clients balked at the potential cost and time involved. It is thought that, collectively, nearly 50,000 applications collectively have been custom-engineered to work against the Source
