ITRS Insights will enable analysis that helps identify infrastructure issues and predict operational failures.
ITRS spent the last few years building Valo, which combines four concepts that already exist in capital markets but have yet to be utilized together─time-series databases; mathematical/statistical software that would be used by quantitative analysts; distributed compute technology that breaks up queries to run them on multiple computers, delivering higher performance; and technology such as Hadoop for handling semi-structured data, says chief executive Guy Warren.
