At the Paris Financial Information Summit 2010, Société Générale’s Oliver Rose said: “I’m not going to spend millions of euros on [automating] five corporate actions in the quarter. I prefer to invest in skills.” The challenge for large organizations with a constant need to hire more corporate actions professionals is to find these skills.

There are around 5,000 corporate actions professionals worldwide, according to research conducted by an industry consultant on behalf of Fidelity
