Thomson Reuters Drills Oil Refinery Alerts Into Eikon

Thomson Reuters has added oil refinery data from Louisville, KY-based energy data provider Genscape to its Eikon data display desktop platform, to enable commodities traders to track the operational status of global oil refineries and assess the potential impact on market prices.

Thomson Reuters began incorporating real-time alerts from Genscape into its newsfeed last month to notify Eikon users of heating and cooling events at refineries, which could be a potential signal of refinery
