FIX Urges Takeup of V3 of MMT Trade Data Standard
With no single consolidated tape of pan-European data, standards adoption becomes ever-more important.
The MMT initiative, which began in 2010 as the basis for creating consolidated tapes of pan-European post-trade data, aims to “provide a proactive method for adoption of a de facto standard for trade reporting across all markets,” and streamline operations to deliver financial gains that benefit the industry as a whole, says Anna Branch, co-chair of FIX Trading Community’s MMT Steering Committee and global head of market data at Fidessa.
