Nasdaq Renews HP Contract

PALO ALTO—The Nasdaq Stock Market has renewed its contract with Hewlett-Packard (HP) and will purchase more than 500 Mips s88000 replacement processors for its HP NonStop high-end, fault-tolerant servers, officials tell DWT.

As part of the deal, which started Nov. 1, 2004, Nasdaq will be running the HP OpenView enterprise management software designed for round-the-clock operations and consistent monitoring, HP officials say.
