Abbey to Deploy WSS Apps Suite

LONDON--UK Bank Abbey National Group is embarking on a major implementation of treasury-trading applications from Wall Street Systems (WSS), only weeks after announcing that it would withdraw from investment banking and concentrate on UK personal financial services.
Several unspecified modules of the system for trading, risk management and back-office processing will be installed by the end of November for up to 75 traders--most of whom are based at the bank’s new trading floor at Triton Square
