Newedge to Offer IRS Clearing

Multi-asset broker Newedge today announced plans to develop its clearing facilities for interest rate swaps (IRS), as well as a new partnership with its two founding banks.

The IRS clearing initiative is supported by a partnership with Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) and Crédit Agricole CIB, which will serve as Newedge's cleared IRS contingent default managers. In addition, Newedge's over-the-counter (OTC) IRS clearing platform will be accessible to SocGen and Crédit
