Linedata Takes Colorado Fund Administrator Live
Colorado-based investment advisor Public Trust Advisors has gone live on Linedata's Admin Edge administrator platform. The software platform will include new features in support of Public Trust Advisors' management and administration of the Colorado Local Government Liquid Asset Trust portfolio, valued at nearly $4 billion.
The Linedata software was chosen for the benefits achieved through its integration of fund accounting, investor administration, income allocations and web reporting, according to the firm.
"The real advantage of Linedata was a fully integrated solution, with systems which were designed to work together to achieve efficiencies and keep costs in check," says Greg Wright, CEO of Public Trust Advisors.
The solution, which is fully hosted, was implemented in only six weeks, with an added online trade order entry facility for Public Trust Advisors' investors, a first for Linedata.
Connecting various fund administration functions is seen as increasingly crucial for Linedata clients, says Annie Morris, Linedata's Managing Director for North America.
"The administrator market increasingly needs a broader toolbox to provide everything from accounting and compliance to client reporting," Morris says. "An increasing number of these clients sign up for an integrated, hosted platform such as [Admin Edge], as they look to gain competitive advantage through technology while keeping their overhead stable."
